    Mindee and Rich

Occupation: Parents of three young adults.  Rich works on the technical side of a large corporation and I am in search of my purpose.

Free Time: I like to cook and bake and avoid cleaning my house.  Rich loves playing guitar, and recording and producing music.

Won’t Eat: I hate mushrooms and mashed potatoes, Rich loves them.  I like sushi and sun-dried tomatoes, he’d just as soon have a steak.

Last Birthday Dinner: That would have been Rich’s.  I made home made chicken pot pie because he loves it and I love him.

     Luna

When we moved here, Rich and I both said that we absolutely, positively were NOT getting a dog.  Our beloved poodle had just died and we weren’t interested in replacing her.  But then the kids were sad and lonely and having a hard time adjusting and we ended up at the local animal shelter where we found this lovable mutt.  I highly recommend the adoption experience.  Getting a dog already housebroken and past the chewing stage was great.  Faith named her after the character in the Harry Potter books.

    Ju Ju Bee

When Faith was in kindergarten, her favorite book was Skippy John Jones by Judy Schachner. It’s about a Siamese kitten who thinks he is a Chihuahua. It’s a terrific book. If anyone in your house is between the ages of 4-8, I highly recommend it. Anyway, Faith loved this book and so we got her a Siamese kitten for Christmas. She is named for one of Skippy John Jones’ sisters.

    Hobbes

This guy is ginormous.  Seriously - we’ve never had a cat this big and we have had a lot of cats.  He’s confident and crafty and likes to play fetch.  He’s also Rich’s favorite pet and turns my husband into a baby-talking mush ball.
